Dodge Charger, the original muscle car and one of America's most revered performance nameplates, was revived by Chrysler Motors in 2006. Coupes were popular during the late 1960s and 1970s, and regarded as potent muscle machines. Charger was brought back to compete with other muscle cars like the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Impala and Pontiac Grand Prix. For 2008, Charger comes with a redesigned instrument panel and more standard features across models.
Dodge Charger is available in four trims: SE, SE Plus, the performance-oriented R/T, and SRT8. An SXT package, a Daytona R/T and Super Bee package are also offered. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but SXT and R/T models have the choice of all-wheel drive. |
