When introduced in 2007, the Hyundai Veracruz crossover took the auto industry by storm, raising the bar on what consumers could expect in the premium midsize and crossover segment. The seven-passenger Veracruz gets even better for 2008. It has a new navigation system. And it combines the luxury and style of Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander, while offering the upscale amenities and premium craftsmanship found in a Lexus RX350 and Mercedes-Benz ML. The model is available in three trims: GLS, SE and Limited, available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive (AWD). One of the changes in the 2008 Veracruz is that earlier optional equipment is now standard. A power tailgate and a 115-volt outlet are featured on the SE model; while a Hyundai-first navigation system is now an option on the Limited model. |
