The 2008 Sequoia Platinum 2WD, Toyota's full-size sport utility vehicle, is priced at $52,375 (MSRP). The new high-line Platinum trim level, introduced in 2008, brings Lexus-like luxury to the Sequoia lineup. The 2008 Sequoia Platinum 2WD is equipped with the same powerful 5.7 DOHC 32-valve i-FORCE V8 engine, producing 381-horsepower at 5600 rpm and 401 lb-ft of torque at 3600 rpm. It comes equipped with upgraded standard features, not available on lower trim models.

The ritzy 2008 Sequoia Platinum 2WD comes standard with 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, power moonroof with sunshade, roof rack, perforated leather-trimmed heated and cooled front bucket seats with power lumbar and thigh control, 10-way power-adjustable driver's and 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat; perforated leather-trimmed second-row heated bucket seats with multifunction center console and perforated leather-trimmed 60/40 reclining, power-folding and reclining third-row seating, a DVD navigation system with back-up camera combo and a power tilt/telescopic steering wheel.
