The Audi Q7 made its debut at the 2005 Frankfurt Auto Show and is a third-generation performance-luxury crossover SUV. The 2008 Audi Q7 seats up to seven passengers depending on the seating configuration. It's available in three trims ranging from the 3.6 Quattro to the 4.2 Quattro Premium with unique safety and luxury features, exclusive handling, and superior craftsmanship. |

The 2008 Audi Q7 is fitted with a 3.6-liter V-6 that generates 280 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque or a 4.2-liter V-8 that produces 350 hp and 325 lb-ft. of torque. A six-speed transmission with manual-shift control is standard on both. All Q7 models come with Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Properly equipped, the Q7 can tow 6,600 pounds. The V-8 engine propels 0-60-mph in 8.3 seconds, while the V-6 takes about 10 seconds. |

Standard safety equipment for the 2008 Audi Q7 includes anti-lock brakes, a stability control system with hill descent control and rollover detection, traction control, front occupant whiplash protection, side curtain airbags for all outboard passengers, and front-seat side airbags. Optional safety features are seat-mounted side airbags for the second row and side assist, which notifies the driver when other motorists have entered the vehicle's blind spots by lighting up yellow LEDs in the exterior mirror housings. |
