2008 Chrysler Town & Country Review
  Overview

Chrysler's Town and Country minivan gets a complete makeover for the 2008 model year. Apart from the new interior and exterior, a slew of new and improved features have been added. The 2008 Town and Country will be available in three trim levels for 2008: LX, Touring and Limited.

  Engine and Performance

Prominent among the changes in the refurbished Chrysler Town and Country model are the engines. The new 4.0-liter, V-6 engine delivers 240 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 3.8-liter V-6, and a 3.3-liter, flex fuel V-6. Transmission options include a new six-speed automatic, available on the 4.0L and 3.8L, and a four-speed automatic for the 3.3L.

  Body and Styling

The interiors carry a host of new and regular features in the 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. The new, removable utility table, which can be placed between the second and third rows; and three kinds of seating systems, including one in which the second row can be rotated to face the rear. Other features include a dual-screen overhead entertainment system; hard drive-based MyGIG digital media system; and Yes Essentials' stain-resistant cloth fabric. Prominent exterior features include front and rear suspension mounts designed to absorb vibration; and SoundLoc, door liners that neutralize door sound.

  Safety Features

Front, side and side-curtain air bags, integrated child booster seat, electronic stability control, rear back-up camera, and high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps are but some of the many safety features of Chrysler Town and Country, which can be trusted to deliver in the toughest of driving conditions.
