2008 Infiniti EX Review |
| |
Overview |
|
| |
The 2008 Infiniti EX35 is a premium new compact sport utility vehicle from the Japanese automaker. This four-door wagon, which seats five, shares its platform and powertrain with Infiniti's G35 midsize sedan. The rising popularity of entry-level luxury SUVs bodes well for the EX35 - which looks like a cross between a luxury coupe and a SUV, and is going to give close rivals Acura RDX, Land Rover LR2 and BMW X3 a run for their money. For commuters, the EX35 offers compact dimensions, a high-up seating position, plush interiors and athletic driving dynamics. EX35 comes in base and Journey trims. |

| |
The Infiniti EX35 is powered by a 297-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission offering manual shift mode. Both base and Journey trims are available with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The AWD system includes a snow mode that locks in a 50/50 front/rear power split. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is optional. |
