The 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor is a crossover sport utility vehicle. Its on-road credentials have earned it the AutoPacific award for Best in Class Vehicle in the Premium Midsize Sport Utility class. For 2008, all Endeavor models come standard with an electronic stability system and a new exhaust finisher. Two trim levels are offered: LTD and SE. The SE is available with front- or all-wheel drive; the LTD is only available in AWD.

Under the hood, the sole powertrain teams a 225-horsepower, 3.8-liter, V-6 engine with a four-speed automatic Sportronic transmission. When properly equipped, the all-wheel-drive Endeavor has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

The Endeavor has a brawny front end that features a new chrome grille set above a chin-type spoiler. Large wheel openings and creased wheel arches are prominent on the sides, while a sculpted bumper brings up the rear. Five people can sit comfortably in the cabin. Rear passengers get a 60/40-split, folding backseat. Cargo capacity of 40.7 cubic feet increases to 76.4 cubic feet with the seat folded down. Standard features on the Endeavour include air conditioning with manual climate control, a Rockfort Premium Audio/ Six Disc CD/MP3 Changer, remote keyless entry, cruise control, power accessories, heated mirrors, and power sunroof. The liquid silver metallic exterior color matches the black upholstery fabric inside.

All models of the 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor get a standard anti-skid system. Safety features include power door locks with security logic and child-proof rear doors; anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution; a tire-pressure monitoring system; traction control; advanced front side air bags and curtain side air bags.
