The Suzuki Forenza wagon joined the original Forenza sedan in Suzuki's lineup for the 2004 model year. The wagon continues largely unchanged for this model year, and is available in a single trim level. The extra cargo space makes it suitable as a family car. Bluetooth connectivity (available) and chrome inside door handles have bee added in both sedan and wagon for the 2008 Forenza. Wagons can be equipped with the convenience package or the popular option package.

The Suzuki Forenza wagon gets a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 127 horsepower and 131 pound-feet of torque. Transmission choices include a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.

The Suzuki Forenza wagon offers roomy interiors, extra cargo space and European styling. Air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cloth upholstery, front bucket seats with driver-side height and lumbar adjustment, center console, split folding rear seat, heated power mirrors, power windows, power door locks, AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, intermittent wipers and rear defogger are all standard. An available convenience package comes with features such as cruise control, steering-wheel audio controls and remote entry. The popular package includes items on the convenience package as well as fog lamps and a sunroof.

Safety features include dual front air bags, front side air bags, four-wheel disc brakes, tire-pressure monitor and daytime running lights. The 2008 Suzuki Forenza earned four stars out of five in the government's frontal-impact crash tests.
