The 2008 Suzuki Reno combines the style of a European sedan with the versatility of a hatchback. This compact four-door hatchback shares its basic platform with Suzuki's Forenza (sedan and wagon). The Reno comes in a single trim level and remains unchanged for the new model year.

The Suzuki Reno is equipped with a 127-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine teamed with a manual or automatic transmission. All Renos come with four-wheel disc brakes.

The Suzuki Reno is compact in size, and features athletic styling, almond-shaped headlights, and muscular wheel arches that emphasize the 15-inch steel wheels. Taillights are wrapped around the rear fascia. Door handles are color-keyed, and the car has protective body-side moldings. The five-passenger Reno has plenty of front and rear legroom despite its size. Standard features include air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cloth upholstery, front bucket seats with driver-side height and lumbar adjustment, center console, split folding rear seat, heated power mirrors, power windows, power door locks, AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, intermittent wipers, rear defogger and rear wiper/washer.
